It seems that barely a day goes by without some new impeachment updates, and the last 48 hours have been absolutely no exception — with articles officially being presented to the Senate, and Giuliani associate Lev Parnas appearing on the scene to make some damning new implications about Trump.
"For weeks, Republicans have ignored mounting evidence that Trump knew everything that was happening with the Ukraine scheme, and Democrats have been praying for the other shoe to drop," Stephen Colbert says in the above clip from Thursday night's Late Show. "Well, last night an entire Footlocker fell out of the sky."
Colbert goes on to break down everything that Parnas has said, including that he "made it clear that President Trump threatened Ukraine, and not just with military aid," and what it might mean for the president.
"The only way this could be more damning for Trump is if there was some kind of phone transcript of him demanding an investigation of...oh."
