Stephen Colbert gives James Corden 'Carpool Karaoke' social distancing tips

Stephen Colbert and James Corden are normally separated by a commercial break, with the latter's show following on from former's each night.

But on Monday, they popped up together.

In the interview above, Colbert chats to Corden about the challenges of making a late night comedy show during a pandemic, before giving his CBS colleague some ideas for a socially-distanced version of Carpool Karaoke.

"How about a limo, where you're driving in front and they're behind you with the partition up?" says Colbert, before launching into a sequence of even more outlandish solutions.

Corden doesn't seem sure, but let's be honest — despite the sound issues, it would be fun seeing Carpool attempted in a motorbike with a side car.
