With the spotlight on the Democratic primaries on Tuesday night, Trump couldn't resist holding a rally to try and divert a little attention back his way.
And, somewhat unsurprisingly, he managed to splurge out more than just a few odd sentences while talking to the Concord, New Hampshire crowd.
In the video above (skip to 3:35) Stephen Colbert breaks a few of them down — starting with Trump's nonsensical wafflings about how much he loves Concord, which he appears to be getting confused with the other Concord.
"No, that is not that same Concord, that Concord is in Massachusetts," says Colbert, before launching into his trademark Trump impression. "Oh Concord, I love Concord, your city once fought the red coats with a supersonic jet that could make the trip from New York to London in record time, oh Concord I love your grape juice, Concord I love you."
Next, Colbert plays a clip of Trump introducing his ("very beautiful, even though I'm not allowed to say that") daughter, Ivanka.
"Wow," says Colbert. "That's weird. He says he's not allowed to say it, and he knows why he's not allowed to say it — 'cuz of all the other creepy ways he has said it. But then he says it anyway."
"Says it anyway" might as well be Trump's slogan.
