So, now that Trump has been through an impeachment trial, is he going to moderate his behaviour at all?

Stephen Colbert thinks he knows the answer to that one.

"Trump's not going to change," the host says in the clip above, from Thursday night's Late Show. "And this morning Trump began his toxic victory shamble at the most appropriate place for vengeance: the National Prayer Breakfast. You know what they say, the prayer breakfast is the angriest meal of the day."

Colbert goes on to break down the strangest moments from the speech — from Trump's opening fist pump to the president casually disagreeing with keynote speaker Arthur Brooks' message about loving your enemies.

"Sorry I'm a little horse right now," says Colbert, imitating Trump's croaky dismissal of Brooks. "But when I'm around so many Christians the demon just pops out, you know."
