It's been mere days since we learned the sad news of Chadwick Boseman's passing. Since then, the Black Panther star's friends and colleagues have shared beautiful tributes honouring his legacy and the impact he had on his fans and those close to him.

Stormzy has just released the music video for his song "Superheroes," and it features a moving tribute to Boseman at the very end. "Forever a superhero in our hearts," reads the dedication.

The animated video — produced by animation studio 2veinte — also makes reference to the Black Lives Matter movement. As Stormzy raps the words "What a flippin' time to be a Black Brit," an artist paints a Black Lives Matter mural. Next, protesters don masks and wield BLM placards as Stormzy raps the words, "whole world want our demise but now we rise."

You'll also spot a nod to Manchester United footballer Marcus Rashford, who successfully lobbied the UK government this year and persuaded it to reverse its decision on food vouchers. Rashford's campaigning meant that 1.3 million children in England were able to access free school meal vouchers over the summer break.

You'll also notice references to British author Malorie Blackman's Noughts & Crosses — a YA series that uses dystopia to explore racism. Stormzy starred in the TV adaptation of the series, and has expressed his love and admiration for the story.

A stunning homage to the historic times we are living through.
