What's next for the kids and adults of Hawkins, Indiana and the spooky parallel universe it connects to?

With just under two months to go until it premieres, Netflix has finally delivered a proper trailer for Stranger Things 4 to make sure you're good and hyped for a series that hasn't had a new episode since the third season arrived in 2019. This one's going to land a little differently, however. While past Stranger Things seasons were delivered all at once in single, binge-worthy batches, this fourth season is getting split in half, with the first stretch of episodes arriving on May 27 and the rest to follow on July 1.

Take this opportunity to savor the series as it enters its penultimate season. Netflix shows tend to be an easy binge since most drop all at once. But Stranger Things 4 taking a short mid-season break means fans will have a month to digest and yell with friends about all the new developments before diving right back in. For a series like this that inspires so much conversation and question-asking, that mid-season moment to take a breath is a real gift.

And after that trailer? We have questions.

Stranger Things 4 lands on Netflix May 27.
