While Stranger Things became a pop culture phenomenon that seemingly came out of nowhere, or maybe the Upside Down, it still had many moments worth mocking.

Screen Junkies uploaded an Honest Trailer for Stranger Things Tuesday, and it rightfully ridicules some of the shows obvious influences like Steven Spielberg movies from the '80s and Stephen King adapted novels. Don't worry if you're slow to binge the new season, the video only spoils Season 1.

“Visit the ideal suburb of Hawkins, Indiana. A small town where no one seems to pay any mind to the giant high security top secret lab with hundreds of employees,” the voice over states in the trailer.

The trailer even makes a reference to the Hangover which also involved a missing friend and a band of friends coming together to find him.

“Journey to the upside down an alternate dimension thats just like our own, if it were covered in snot ropes and dandruff.”
