Dogs are decidedly not man's best friend in the trailer for Strays. Specifically, one man: Sleazeball Doug (Will Forte). Doug committed the egregious sin of abandoning his sweet, naïve dog Reggie (voiced by Will Ferrell) to fend for himself in the middle of a city.

Thanks to some urging from new doggie friend Bug (voiced by Jamie Foxx), Reggie comes to terms with the fact that Doug left him behind on purpose. Now, Reggie is on a mission to find Doug — not to reunite with his owner, but to — ahem — "bite his dick off."

So begins Reggie and Bug's quest for revenge, where they're joined by fellow strays Maggie (voiced by Isla Fisher) and Hunter (voiced by Randall Park). These dogs swear, hump, and do shrooms together in what is surely the most bizarre trailer of 2023 so far.

Strays is in theaters June 9.
