The first week of ELeague's Street Fighter V Invitational wrapped up with a few landslide victories and a handful of upsets as players battled for spots in the group stages. With over 100 matches unfolding over the week, there were a whole bunch of hot highlights to salivate over.

ELeague put together a highlight reel featuring the top five plays of the week. The list is chock-full of impressive comebacks, insane combos, and inhuman counters. Coming in at no. 1 is Ryan Hart reading Olivier "Luffy" Hay like a book and shutting him down with perfect blocks followed by a tight combo and a critical art punish.

After the preliminaries, 2016 Street Fighter V world runner-up Ricki Ortiz is already out of the star-studded tournament along with crowd favorites Kenneth "K-Brad" Bradely and Long Island Joe Ciaramelli.

ELeague is owned by Turner Broadcasting, which also is an investor in Mashable.
