Street Fighter's boxing champion returns to the ring, and much sooner than fans expected. Capcom announced at the end of a major SFV tournament in Florida on Sunday night that Balrog will be part of the massive content update scheduled for Friday, July 1.

Balrog was already confirmed as an upcoming character, but fans expected him to be released later this year. The latest update will offer a six-hour story mode, Ibuki as a playable character, as well as new costumes and stages. It's free for all Street Fighter V owners on PC and PlayStation 4.

Make sure you watch all the way to the end to see the first glimpses of Urien and Juri, both due later in 2016.
