Matt Damon is beating up mobsters in the new trailer for George Clooney's Suburbicon.

The clip for Paramount's dark comedy opens by presenting the 1950's town of Suburbicon as a place of "prosperity for all," though it quickly becomes clear there is more to the place than meets the eye.

Damon's character confronts the gangsters after his wife was murdered for failing to repay a debt. He then finds the gangsters have gone after his son.

Later in the clip, Damon's character murders someone in the street and is confronted by Oscar Issac as another mobster, who warns Damon that he could kill him easily. "I could kill you too," Damon responds, garnering a chuckle from Isaac.

It's in theaters October 27.
