The thought of swallowing a dangerous substance in order to transport it is already horrifying enough, but now imagine the thing you swallowed turns out to be something different to what you thought it was — maybe even something living.

That's the icky conceit for writer/director Carter Smith's Swallowed, which sees two friends biting off more than they can chew after they try to make a bit of money on their final night out together before Benjamin (Cooper Koch) moves to LA.

Also starring in the film are Jena Malone, Jose Colon, and A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge legend Mark Patton.
