I always dreamed of having my funeral at a Taco Bell, but I never imagined there would be a funeral for a Taco Bell.
After an electrical fire caused a 24-hour Taco Bell in Montgomery, Alabama to partially collapse, Chalupa enthusiast Russell Dowis and his roommate Katie James jokingly created a Facebook event to commemorate the location.
"Please join us in mourning the okay customer service as we stand together in the loss of our beloved taco bell," the event page states. "May we never forget the okay customer service and long wait line for the oh so delightful baja blasts and 5 dollar quesadilla box. Bring your own candles. We are broke."

At the vigil, baja blasts were reportedly poured out over the parking lot, and a praise group calling themselves the "Baja Angels" sang and danced. It's honestly the type of dedication befitting a fast food chain that has given us revolutionary menu items like $1 Nacho Fries and Volcano Crispy Chicken Chips.

Of the 500 people to RSVP on Facebook, nearly 100 showed up Sunday night to celebrate the legacy of Taco Bell at 2695 Zelda Road. Ironically, the vigil was held in the Arby's parking lot across the street, as Taco Bell's lot was still under investigation by authorities.
