The trailer for Talk to Me — one of Mashable's favorite films from Sundance 2023 — introduces a devilish new horror game. You take hold of a ceramic hand, say, "Talk to me," and for the next 90 seconds, you're possessed by something from the other side.

Why only 90 seconds, you may wonder? Well, after that amount of time, the spirit possessing you will want to stay. And that's when things really take a turn for the worst. Based on the banging doors, shadowy figures, and more horrors lurking in Talk to Me's trailer, it's safe to say our protagonists led some sinister force to our world. Now, the biggest question is, can they escape it?

Talk to Me hits theaters July 28.
