Taylor Swift returned to the Saturday Night Live stage with the 10-minute of "All Too Well" off the newly released Red (Taylor's Version). "All Too Well: The Short Film," starring Sadie Sink and Dylan O'Brien, played out in the background during her performance.

Most SNL musical performances are just a few minutes, but then again so are most songs. It would be (casually) cruel if not outright blasphemous to have Swift play the abridged "All Too Well" a day after rereleasing it out into the world, and combining the live performance with a screening works surprisingly well (the full short includes dialogue, but you don't need it to follow the song's story).

Red (Taylor's Version) is out now.
