Tesla's new "Full Self-Driving" mode (that isn't actually fully autonomous, and still requires drivers to hold the wheel and pay attention) just got owned by a famous San Francisco street.

On Friday, Tesla vlogger Tesla Raj posted his driving experience with the FSD beta on San Francisco's crooked Lombard Street about a week after the new driving mode was released to a select group of drivers. FSD, for the unaware, offers drivers features like autosteering, braking, stopping, turning, and lane changes on city streets. Previously Tesla's automated driving system, Autopilot, was only available on highways and major thoroughfares.

But when Tesla Raj turned on FSD at the top of the crooked street, the autonomous system needed human assistance at every. single. curve.

Regardless, the optional advanced driving system just went up in price to $10,000. Tesla CEO Elon Musk said earlier this month that the new driving feature would be available for more owners to purchase by the end of the year. But if it can't navigate curves on its own, you might want to hold onto that money.
