Comedy fans, get ready: Saturday Night Live’s Michael Che is doing a solo show.

On Monday, HBO Max debuted the first teaser for the Weekend Update co-anchor’s upcoming comedy series, aptly titled That Damn Michael Che. The six-part sketch show will feature Che, alongside SNL stars Cecily Strong, Heidi Gardner, Colin Quinn, Ellen Cleghorne, and Colin Jost — as well as guest stars Omari Hardwick, Geoffrey Owens, Godfrey, Billy Porter and Method Man.

Per the series' description (and what little we can see from the funny but still bite-sized trailer), That Damn Michael Che will see Che tackle topics ranging from racial profiling to falling in love. As the seasoned stand-up says in the preview, he wants to do it all, no matter how dicey.

"People always tell you, 'You can't say that because kids are watching, and I don't want my kids seeing that on TV,'" Che jokes. "And I'm like, 'Well, what about my kids? I want my kids to see everything.' It's bad enough they're already growing up without a father." Nice.

That Damn Michael Che Season 1 begins streaming May 6 on HBO Max.
