It's been five long years since we got to explore Journey, the beautiful video game creation from Jenova Chen and his team at Thatgamecompany. Now, the studio's next game has been revealed: Sky.
The iOS timed exclusive and so-called "social adventure game" is expected to arrive for iPhone, iPad, and Apple TV in the latter months of 2017.
Based on the little Chen said during Apple's Sept. 12 presentation, the game supports up to eight players and can be played with just one finger. You and your fellow players are "children of the light," charged with "bringing light to where it's needed most."
If it's anything like TGC's past efforts, expect plenty of subtext and symbolism hidden beneath lush environments and high-flying characters.
