The 100 will return to our screens on Feb. 1, and things are looking pretty grim for our scrappy band of survivors, judging by the first Season 4 trailer for the CW drama.

Last season ended with Earth once again facing nuclear disaster, with the artificial intelligence known as ALIE predicting that the planet would become uninhabitable within six months.

By the looks of the first first footage from the new season, everything that the AI predicted is starting to come true when we rejoin our heroes -- from black rain to radiation poisoning to infighting -- as Clarke (Eliza Taylor), Bellamy (Bob Morley), Octavia (Marie Avgeropoulos) and the rest of Skaikru try to figure out how to tackle this new threat.

Will the Arkers and Grounders be able to work together to keep humanity alive? Perhaps a more pressing question is whether their own humanity can survive the attempt. We'll find out in February.
