You probably check the weather forecast every day, but The Aeronauts will make you truly appreciate the ability.

Amazon Studios dropped a trailer for its upcoming film starring Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne (who appeared together in The Theory of Everything), and it looks like a pretty fun mildly historical ride.

Jones stars as balloon pilot Amelia Wren, who teams up with Redmayne as meteorologist James Glaisher, aiming to advance our measly human knowledge of the weather using a hot air balloon as a vessel.

But you can't just jump in a balloon to track the weather and expect it to be all smooth sailing, both on and off the ground, as the trailer suggests.

The Aeronauts hit cinemas Dec. 6 and Prime Video Dec. 20.
