The Blacklist Season 4 finale finally made it official: Red Reddington is Liz Keen's father, and now that the show has provided the answer to that central mystery, the real fun can begin.

"Fun" is definitely the first word that springs to mind when watching this exclusive first look at the Season 5 premiere, which sees a disturbingly chill Red doing his best to rebuild his criminal empire, while Liz struggles to balance her FBI job with her father's questionable influence.

As star Megan Boone points out in our sneak peek, this definitely seems to be a case of "like father, like daughter," and the show will never be the same again.

The Blacklist Season 5 debuts Wednesday, Sept. 27 at 8 p.m. on NBC.
