Hankering for more John Wick action after the thrills of John Wick 4? Peacock's upcoming three-part series The Continental: From the World of John Wick has you covered.

The series takes place in the 1970s, long before Keanu Reeves ever avenged the death of his puppy. We follow young Winston (Colin Woodell) as he first arrives at the New York Continental, a legendary hotel with links to the criminal underworld. One day, he'll be the manager, but for now, he'll have to claw his way up a very dangerous ladder. The initial teaser for The Continental gives us our first glimpse at this journey, featuring some classic John Wick-style action, all set to the sweet, sweet sounds of Donna Summer.

Notably missing from the trailer? Any footage of top-billed actor Mel Gibson, whose history of bigoted remarks certainly puts a damper on enthusiasm for this project.

The Continental hits Peacock Sept. 2023.
