"What the actual f***, America? We have had two qualified, accomplished women nominated for president, and both times they lost to the worst man in the whole country."

Desi Lydic started Wednesday's Daily Show by airing out her frustrations and confusion over the 2024 election results, before attempting to unpack where exactly Harris went wrong. The problem? As she shows through a series of clips, nobody seems able to agree, with pundits saying Harris was too far to the left, too far to the right, not pro-Israel enough, not pro-Palestinian enough, not distant enough from Joe Biden, and not loyal enough to Joe Biden.

"This is all making sense, if I just put all the pieces together, who f***ing knows?!" says Lydic, going on to say she's really more interested in why Trump won than why Harris lost.

"It's pretty clear that America is the one that needs the diagnosis. Because whatever's wrong with him, we f***ing love it. In this moment, Donald Trump is holding up a mirror to the American people, and it might be time to take a good f***ing look."

Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, and Seth Meyers have also shared their reactions.
