The first promo for HBO's new drama The Deuce puts the tease in teaser -- which actually makes sense, when you hear the premise.
Starring James Franco in the dual roles of twin brothers Vincent and Frankie Martino, The Deuce follows the story of the legalization and subsequent rise of the porn industry in New York’s Times Square from the early 1970s through the mid-1980s. Maggie Gyllenhaal also stars as a Times Square sex worker with an entrepreneurial spirit.
Hailing from The Wire creator David Simon and author George Pelecanos, the new footage oozes '70s style (and thankfully not any other bodily fluids).
