"What if you could test your blood in your own home? And what if it wasn't a whole vial, but just a drop?"

That was the idea behind Theranos, the health corporation headed by Elizabeth Holmes, whose recent trial became a Silicon Valley spectacle. Hulu's upcoming limited series The Dropout tackles Holmes's story, from her dropping out of Stanford to the founding of Theranos to the fraud that followed. Amanda Seyfried takes on the lead role, slipping as easily into Holmes's signature black turtleneck as her carefully designed baritone voice.

Starring alongside Seyfried are Naveen Andrews, Stephen Fry, William H. Macy, Laurie Metcalf, and Sam Waterston.

The Dropout hits Hulu on March 3.
