Okay, Star Wars Day was Friday but the above video is pretty stellar any day of the year.

Grant Davis built this phenomenal LEGO recreation of the Star Destroyer crashed on the surface of Jakku from The Force Awakens and was kind enough to capture it all on film and then upload it to YouTube on Friday for the world to enjoy (h/t io9).

What's even more incredible is there is no official LEGO set of this ship so he did this all on his own and includes terrific details, from the crashed TIE fighter to Rey rappelling in to find the latest junk she can exchange for magic bread.

According to Davis, he built the scene over the course of three weeks with the assistance of a friend, and the finished project is seven feet long. So, if you want to make your own version, know that it can be done but you'd better have a lot of extra space in your garage.
