After multiple murder and coup attempts, Catherine the Great (Elle Fanning) and her husband Peter (Nicholas Hoult) are attempting to make their marriage work...while ruling Russia at the same time.

Season 3 of The Great sees Catherine still struggling to bring her vision of an enlightened Russia to fruition, while Peter languishes in his role as First Husband. The trailer for the upcoming season is full of classic The Great wit, as well as effigies of Catherine, a book on "the science of marriage," and a discussion about the joys of beaver hunting. Three huzzahs for the return of this royally good time.

The Great Season 3 hits Hulu May 12.
