Dev Patel plays Arthur's daring nephew Sir Gawain in David Lowery's The Green Knight — the actual Green Knight is his ominous tree-like challenger. Gawain sets out to defeat the knight in battle but encounters many other obstacles along his journey — including the test of his own worthiness as a soldier and leader. The film also stars Alicia Vikander, Joel Edgerton, Sarita Choudhury, and more.
The Green Knight arrives in theaters July 30.
