In case you hadn't heard, The Handmaid's Tale has officially put Hulu on the map in terms of critical acclaim and audience buzz, so it's no surprise that the zeitgeisty new drama got the Saturday Night Live treatment a week after its debut.
(The sketch even tips its hat to the ongoing Hulu-Netflix rivalry, with a snarky voice gloating, "See, Netflix, we have one too.")
The skit sees four Handmaids encountering two of their former guy friends -- played by Chris Pine and Mikey Day -- who are having a hard time understanding what their lady-friends are so freaked out about.
"They took our money, and our jobs, and our kids?" One of the Handmaids offers, trying to jog their memories.
"Oh yeah... Think I actually read something about that, but I've been super busy with work lately," Pine-bro shrugs.
"You guys should, like, fight back," Day-bro offers.
