Some phone calls aren't meant to be answered.

Based on Matthew Quirk's novel of the same name, Netflix's new series The Night Agent follows Peter Sutherland (Gabriel Basso), an FBI agent whose unglamorous gig involves working in the basement of the White House. Peter is assigned one simple task — monitor an emergency phone line for undercover spies and answer when it rings. When it finally does ring, his entire world turns upside down as he finds himself caught in a dangerous conspiracy that trickles all the way up to the President himself.

The Night Agent also stars Luciane Buchanan, Hong Chau, Sarah Desjardins, Fola Evans-Akingbola, Eve Harlow, Enrique Murciano, Phoenix Raei, and DB Woodside.

The Night Agent premieres on Netflix March 23
