When I first watched The Nun, I couldn't sleep for days. Luckily for me, the worst demon I've ever seen on screen is back for a sequel.
The Nun II, a sequel to the 2018 spin-off film from The Conjuring universe, traces the origin story of Valak, a terrifying demonic entity that enjoys casually disguising itself as a nun. Set in 1956, The Nun II follows Sister Irene (Taissa Farmiga) as she once again faces Valak's wrath and tries to get rid of them once and for all. Spoiler alert: If you've seen The Conjuring 2, you know how that's going to go for Sister Irene, so don't say I didn't warn you.
The Nun II also stars Jonas Bloquet, Storm Reid, Anna Popplewell, and legendary character actress Bonnie Aarons as the titular nun.
