It's one of the British TV shows we're most looking forward to this year and it's got a trailer.

HBO/Sky limited series The Regime sees Kate Winslet in the lead as Elena Vernham, the chancellor of a modern authoritarian regime who has no time for...well, most people. But she's grown quite paranoid in her power. Confiding in soldier Herbert Zubak (Matthias Schoenaerts), Elena may have picked the wrong companion, and her time in the palace feels wildly unstable.

Written by Will Tracy and directed by Stephen Frears and Jessica Hobbs, The Regime looks like one sharply comedic watch.

How to watch: The Regime is streaming March 3 at 9 p.m. ET on HBO and Max in the U.S., and will stream on Sky Atlantic and NOW in April in the UK.
