Team Christina is in it for the win this year, folks, and their strongest horse in the race is without a doubt former child star Alisan Porter.

On Monday night's episode of The Voice, Porter -- who largely left Hollywood behind after her starring role in 1991 John Hughes film Curly Sue -- proved she's ready to be back in the spotlight with an impressive take on Janis Joplin’s "Cry Baby."

It was so good that it caused judge Christina Aguilera to rise from her seat and praise the music gods. (I love it when the judges lose it.)

After her performance, she also earned major praise from her friend (and former American Idol) Adam Lambert, which is among the highest endorsements a singing competition contestant can get, if we're being honest. It's the musical equivalent of the Pope blessing Pope Baby

Watch her performance and tell us what you think.
