The Weeknd is back with vengeance in the new music video for his recently released single, "Starboy." Though things are different this time—take, for example, the death of his dreadlocks.
The video, directed by Grant Singer, shows Abel Tesfaye suffocating his old self and wandering his home with a spring in his step, ready to destroy relics of his past and anything that may be in his way with a glowing cross and some mean robot dance moves.
He will be opening up the Saturday Night Live season with a performance on Oct. 1.
