Netflix unveils fantastic full trailer for 'The Witcher'

The first full-length trailer for The Witcher dropped on Thursday and every part of it looks surprisingly great.

With Henry Cavill as the near-emotionless witcher Geralt of Rivia, this trailer shows a lot of promise for the series that began its rise in popularity in the West over 10 years ago with the release of the first Witcher video game.

In the trailer, we get flashes of all the things that make The Witcher so special — political squabbles mixed with interstate conflicts, plenty of sexual tension, terrifying monsters, and a little bit of magic. The trailer also shows Geralt soaking in a bathtub, which is just iconic Witcher stuff.

The Witcher arrives on Netflix on Dec. 20.
