Paula Strawn is a Washington-based artist whose using her talents to help thousands of babies smile while wearing a medical helmet. Infants wear these types of helmets for a variety of reasons, the most common is the flattening of the head when the baby passes through the birth control. Strawn hopes that her work opens up a space for conversation with strangers who may not know how to react.
