New 'Thor: Love & Thunder' trailer reveals Christian Bale as Gorr. Also, Thor's butt.

Well, this is a lot.

Move over, America's ass: We might be about to see Asgard's ass. (Assgard? I'll workshop it.)

Of course, there's more going on in this new trailer for Thor: Love and Thunder, the fourth and likely most unhinged instalment in the Thor series. We get some voice-over from director/co-writer/star Taika Waititi, explaining how Thor (Chris Hemsworth) went "from dad bod to god bod" (so we're still fat-shaming our deeply traumatised hero for getting a lil beer belly? OK?). We get our first good look at Christian Bale as Gorr the God Butcher, in all his grayscale glory, and some fun banter from Jane-Thor (Natalie Portman), who seems to have become more interesting as well as more jacked. And we get to see Russell Crowe's jovial Zeus — sporting a Greek-ish accent right out of a '90s Australian sketch comedy show — who "flicks" Thor's clothes off in front of what looks like most of the population of Marvel's Mount Olympus.

Good to know that Waititi (who wrote the script alongside Jenn Kaytin Robinson) is doling out the fanservice no matter whose godlike physique you're most interested in seeing more of. It's heavily pixelated, but that's just for the trailer, right? Right??

Thor: Love and Thunder is in theaters July 8.
