Tom Hiddleston shares the amusingly underwhelming Loki prop he stole from set

Today is a very special day, because we finally have more Loki in our lives.

To mark the release of the new Disney+ series, Tom Hiddleston appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! to talk about his fondest Marvel memories, including the first time he met Chris Hemsworth ("My first thought was, 'Oh, they cast the right actor'") and the fact that he spent both his 30th and 40th birthdays on set playing the same character.

He also shared the souvenir he managed to pinch from the Loki set, but — spoiler alert — it's not quite as impressive as the massive hammer Chris Hemsworth has in his house.

"Loki comes down to visit Thor in the first movie and he's wearing this scarf," says Hiddleston, after dashing off to fetch said scarf from somewhere off-camera. "That's all I got. There you go."

Sadly Kimmel doesn't remember it, but it doesn't seem like Loki will be going anywhere anytime soon, so hopefully there will be more prop theft opportunities in the years to come.

Loki premieres June 9 on Disney+, with new episodes every Wednesday.
