Remember that genuinely unnerving deepfake of Tom Holland and Robert Downey Jr. in Back to the Future, that went viral a couple of weeks back?
Well, Tom Holland has seen it. And in the BBC Radio 1 interview above, he makes two important admissions: 1) That there have previously "conversations" about a remake, although Holland thinks the film "couldn't be made better", and 2) He's up for chatting to Downey Jr. to see if they can "recreate...something" — even if it's just that one scene.
A remake based on a deepfake based on an old classic? The future truly is weirder than Doc could possibly have imagined.
