Night-time tornadoes can be dangerous events, as it's hard to see where the storms are and which way they're heading. But in the above video, a tornado that struck Pontiac, Illinois last week made its presence know when it slammed into a power transformer and literally sent sparks flying.
The EF2-rated (111-135 m.p.h.) tornado was captured on video by a local police officer's dashcam. This was one of several tornados to strike Central Illinois. No deaths were reported, but several people were injured. Damage was sustained across a portion of the state.
