Trevor Noah's extravagant 'Late Late Show' entrance incurs the wrath of James Corden

Trevor Noah has been hosting The Daily Show from his apartment for the past year, so there hasn't been much opportunity for stranger interaction or studio-based special effects.

That all changed on Wednesday though, when his entrance on the Late Late Show was marked with fireworks, confetti and some seriously head-banging guitar riffs — much to the mock outrage of James Corden.

"What if I came on your show and did that?!" yells Corden in the sketch above, after Noah has finally settled down.

"We'd never let this sort of thing happen on my show," comes the response.

Still, it's not the most dramatic entrance the Late Late Show has ever seen. Who can forget Billy Porter's?
