Trevor Noah compares Donald Trump and Boris Johnson, 'separated at birth'

Pretty much everyone in the UK knows who Boris Johnson is.

But perhaps folks in the U.S. have only really started to wonder recently, since he's a clear frontrunner to replace Prime Minister Theresa May, and has been compared to Donald Trump.

So, on The Daily Show Wednesday night, Trevor Noah provided a little explainer on the gaffe-prone, pro-Brexit, former foreign secretary who's been publicly backed by Trump, his long lost twin.

"When you look into it, it makes sense. They were both in New York City, both had famous cheating scandals, they have similar political beliefs, and look at them. I mean, look at them. They look like they were separated at birth — and I mean purposely," said Noah.

"Another thing that makes them similar is that for years no one took either of them seriously, and now, just like Trump, Boris is poised to become the leader of his country, which used to be a cool job but thanks to Brexit is about as desirable as being Kanye West's social media manager."

Noah also wrapped up the first 24 hours of Trump's UK visit and it is a ride.
