Trevor Noah's latest interview with Dr. Anthony Fauci was a conversation about vaccine sceptics and how best to convince them, so the tone was understandably serious throughout. But the Daily Show host still managed to end things on a slightly lighter note, rounding the interview off with a classic game of "Would You Rather?"

The first two questions, which touch on the safety of indoors versus outdoors and theatres versus airplanes, were still fairly serious, and Fauci did his best to answer them — fears about his comments being taken out of context aside.

"I will fight the people who soundbite this show Dr Fauci," Noah reassured him, before moving on to the final (and significantly less serious) question: "Would you, Dr. Fauci, rather fight one horse-sized duck that has COVID, or 100 duck-sized horses that have COVID?"

His answer, which he gets out after a considerable snort of laughter? "I'd go for the one-on-one as opposed to the many."

"Is this because of like, the risk of spreading among the many, and you can handle the one?" asks Noah.

"Exactly," replies Fauci.
