Trey Songz covered David Bowie's classic "Life on Mars?" for an upcoming episode of HBO series Vinyl. His version, though slightly more stylized, stays pretty close to the original, and it pairs nicely with his signature croon.
Songz was "honored" to be asked, he tells Complex. Bowie's recent death made it all the more important that he get it just right.
"After learning of his passing I knew that this was a special moment in time," he says. "This cover became my personal tribute to David."
