Time may be a flat circle in some parts of the world, but in the fictional town of Ennis, Alaska, it moves pretty darn slowly. Especially during the winter months when some areas in the Arctic Circle go dark for two months at a time.
The teaser above for True Detective: Night Country, the fourth installment in Nic Pizzolatto's crime anthology series, takes this as its setting, following two detectives (Jodie Foster and Kali Reis), as they investigate a spate of grisly killings that follow the start of "the long night."
