Wednesday saw the 75th anniversary of the bombing of Pearl Harbor and members of the U.S. Army’s 25th Infantry Division picked a unique way to mark the occasion during a ceremony in Honolulu.
The soldiers performed the Hawaiian ha’a, or “dance of the warrior,” in honor of those who died at Schofield Barracks (now Wheeler Army Airfield) on the island of Oahu. They were hit by a Japanese attack that occurred at the same time as the Pearl Harbor attack on Dec. 7 1941.
