As Game Of Thrones continues to unfurl secrets and tidbits that pre-date the show's storylines that still have a mighty impact on our favorite characters who haven't been horribly killed yet, sometimes a little history can go a long way.
Enter BazBattles, a YouTube channel that serves up terrific animated, mobile-game-like recaps of actual historical battles. For the newest episode (via Nerdist), though, the crew look at all of the many maneuvers that led to the predominant fight of Game Of Thrones' history, Robert's Rebellion, and its deciding skirmish, the Battle of the Trident.
In just a hair over 13 minutes, the video meticulously lays out a who's who of Westeros leading to the rebellion and how they got to be in their various positions of power and then gives us a fantastic deep dive into the specifics of Robert's Rebellion, even down to some street-level fighting scenes.
As the television show continues to speed forward and rely on this history for more key moments and motivations, it's a pretty great way to stay fresh on your Westerosi history and keep up with the significance of each new twist.
