Virtual reality is all very well and good, but there’s clearly something missing from the experience.
You can see, you can hear, you can hold a remote control – but about the sense of smell?
Well fear not, because the brilliantly titled new South Park game The Fractured But Whole is looking to put things right.
The gloriously tongue-in-cheek trailer above is for a gadget called the Nosulus Rift -- essentially a virtual reality fart simulator that’s linked to actual gameplay (remember the farting element in The Stick of Truth?).
Basically, every time your character farts in the game, the gadget strapped over your nose emits a one-second blast of intense, fart-scented fragrance.
Our favourite part of the trailer? Probably the lengthy detailed of how the fragrance itself was chosen.
