If you see an erupting volcano, your first instinct may be to run, but travel vlogger Ryan Purvis' reaction was to snap a selfie.
Purvis recently found himself near Mount Semeru, an active volcano in East Java, Indonesia, when he spotted the volcano erupting and quickly grabbed his camera to check out the action.
Clearly, Purvis was totally stoked to see the eruption so close.
"In-fucking-sane," Purvis said after watching the eruption. "That was the coolest thing I've ever seen."
