YouTuber Luna Lee has been uploading gayageum covers for over 10 years. In that time, she's covered just about every Western anthem you can think of, from ACDC's "Thunderstruck" to the Game of Thrones theme song.

In this more recent upload, Luna Lee covers Jimi Hendrix's "Voodoo Child," and absolutely nails it. While many guitarists struggle to cover the iconic track, Luna Lee seems to be one with the melody while playing it on an absolutely massive instrument.

The gayageum is an instrument that comes in many variations, and can have up to 21 strings. The sound is similar to a banjo but with a less metallic twang. Instead, the aftertaste is a wavering resonance produced by full-hand trilling.

If you want to hear something totally different today, definitely check out her tracks. The crossover between Korean traditionalism and 1970s American rock will take your breath away.
